My research interests are (famously?) all over the place. And the latest publication to see the light of day is just another indication of that. For the most part though, I always write about the ways that abstract ideas manage to touch real peoples' lives.


This piece shows how both the US and Poland exploited the legal vagueness of "nationality" to address their perceived racial problems, specifically targeting Jews.

I'm really proud to be a part of the Ethnicizing Europe volume along with a group of amazing scholars.
